This afternoon I spontaneously decided to take the bus to Gerolfing and get this hash. It is located in the floodplains of the Danube.
There is an educational path about the waterworks and another about the landscape, although the signs in the forest are camouflaged behind leaves.
Outside a farmhouse I met 2 cats who were unfortunately too shy to grant a Hashcat achievement. On the upside, there were a lot of pretty flowers and birds.
I found apples, blueberries and blackberries, of which I only took home 2 apples (they were delicious) to prevent sticky fingers and/or poisoning.
The scenery changed quite often, from old trees to lush grass to ripe or harvested corn crops. This area is definitely worth a walk or a picnic if you live near Ingolstadt.
The hash was thankfully not on the freshly planted crops (maybe mustard plants? Any biologists/farmers are welcome to identify them) but instead on unused farmland. Just as I had arranged the chestnuts I had gathered earlier today, the sun came out to put a cherry on top of my first successful hash.
