In the public Medina South Park, just south of Highway 520. Not sure who proposed the Ballard alternate meetup.

I showed up a couple of minutes after 4:00 (trouble tying my bow tie) and met up with Slacker, who snapped a picture of me while I was snapping a picture of the GPS. The spot was just across the stream, although the GPS drifted a bit while I was there. Had to take off at 4:30 to get home. Didn't see any other XKCDers.
