Expedition
Before work i wanted to visit this geohash. So I took my motorcycle out of the garage and drove in the direction of the coordinates. these are now in Baltersweil in Germany. Baltersweil itself lies between two border lines with Switzerland. 600 meters to the south is the canton of zurich and 1200 meters to the north is the canton of schaffhausen.
So i drove over the border and took a picture of the sign (see below). the woman with the dog didn't look like a border guard or a drug dog, so i was able to continue undisturbed.
I parked my motorcycle near the target coordinates. I approached the Hashpoint and located it under a very beautiful tree in a meadow on the western edge of the little village of Baltersweil.
I was able to take my photos and proof here undisturbed in the rising morning sun. Since a lot of morning traffic was to be expected on my onward journey to the office, I didn't have time to familiarize myself with the place...
I crossed the same border crossing and continued to work.
