The weather is fantastically warm for March in Edinburgh. Shane is hoping to incorporate a trip to the location in to a longer evening ride with a friend. They won't be able to make it for 4pm, but should be there by half-past.
The location doesn't look suitable for a picnic - cycling through the exact spot may be possible if the traffic isn't too heavy.
