Edit troubles

So I uploaded the pics using names based off of another page and they are not appearing: any suggestions?

Hi - case must be exact, in your case the pictures were uploaded with lower case jpg not upper JPG. I tend to copy/paste from the upload log (also visible on the recent changes list to the left). Finally, you can sign your posts with the signature button in the bar above - 2nd from the right. --Thomcat 00:01, 20 December 2012 (EST)

hashpoint on the day after

So, if you hit a hash mark on the day after, but before the opening bell, it still counts? I'm going to say yes...

Agreed, and I've done it here on the Pacific time zone, though it's a lot harder ;) You have to make sure to create your page as an expedition for the previous day, however - it's just really late in that day. --Thomcat 00:04, 20 December 2012 (EST)

I'm afraid that most folks wouldn't consider that a "same-day" geohashing expedition. (Non-Retro's end at midnight local time.) It is certainly is a Retrohash, which does count some, but many achievements don't then apply. But retro's get a lot of credit in my book: They do get you out into the world and exploring, which really is one of the points of Geohashing, after all. Jiml 00:31, 20 December 2012 (EST)
