The hashpoint was so close to my home, that there was no way I could miss this one. I checked the map, and though on google maps it looked like it's on land, I recalled there's a bed of reeds there. I checked the more detailed map at karttapaikka.fi and my suspicions were assured. It sure didn't look promising, but I thought it was worth checking out.
The distance from my home to the hashpoint was under three kilometers, so I decided to walk. I met UndeadPriest near the hashpoint and we continued the trip together. There was only 40 meters to go when standing on the trail in the nearest point to the hash. I tested the depth of water by walking a small distance into the bed of reeds, but unfortunalately couldn't go far, cause my rainboots had some nasty cracks and they would have leaked easily. With better equipment it could have been possible to reach the hashpoint.
