Planning
The location is in the Tehachapi Mountains, south of Tejon Canyon and Cummings Mountain. It seems to be a long way from any paved road.
I think that if one had a 4x4, it might be possible to get near there by dirt road. But otherwise, I think this one is unreachable.
Who's Coming?
Too hot and too far for me. But, on Sunday, I'm going to go to the Long Beach geohash location [1]. It is on Terminal Island in the LA Harbor, which is a place I've always wanted an excuse to explore. --Mike 18:14, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
The Meetup
I tried to get there today, but it turns out in order to get to the hash you need to get into private property at N 35.051384, W 118.359096. Perhaps there is another way in? -Nathan
