Expedition

Having spotted over the weekend that the monday hash would be located in an industrial area that looked quite reachable, FireFly and leah2 decided to rendezvous on the U-bahn at 18:00. Due to unfortunate light rain, we'd prepared ourselves with umbrellas as there would be some walking to do once we reach the closest U-bahn stop. Making our way north along the U2, we decided it made most sense to go to am Hart and walk from there.

After a brief maybe 10 min walk in the light rain, we made our way to the industrial area... I had some worries that the geohash itself might be fenced off, but fortunately this concern turned out to be baseless. We found the right building, and along the northern edge it looked like there was a garage, with the geohash located right between the main building and the garage. We didn't stick around for too long as there seemed to be people working in the (closed down) garage, but snapped a quick picture for proof and decided to head back.

We'd already decided to also pick up dinner from a döner place in the area, so we took the bus there and had some post-geohash chili & cheese döner, before taking the bus & U-bahn back home again. Not the most inviting weather, but nevertheless an excuse for a random adventure!
