Elgin UK is not the most challenging graticule in the whole of Scotland, only half of it being water (cf. Peterhead). Getting around to the north-eastern tip of somewhere on the western fringe will test my dedication. Inverness and Aberdeen graticules are also in reach so I'll be there too -- hope this isn't seen to be rude. ;-)
Will be out this weekend on Sunday 16 November 2008. The geohash of the day is in the water somewhere in the north Moray Firth (57.987498°, -3.350491°). Mmmm, I don't have a boat.
So this time, a watery geohash is a Failed Geohash. Venue is now set for 57.724098°, -3.350491°, the first point for landfall south of the geohash.
I'll in the water with my wellies, stretching northwards the boundaries of what "landfall" can mean. I haven't checked the tides yet: I hope this doesn't mean that the water will be IN my wellies ...
