This one looks reasonably reachable. It appears to be directly behind a homestead but i'm sure with a bit of sweet talking we can get access considering its only 50 metres from the house. Pretty well formed unsealed track from the highway aswell.
- Twistie is planning to be there with others around 4:30 - 5pm. Edit: I decided not to go following all the rain we had this morning. Decided the dirt road would probably be impassable in a sedan.
- Matty will see what happens, but will probably be sans car.

100m off the highway between Toomulla and Rollingstone. Half way between the road and the railway track.
- I'm so totally going to Friday's --Matty
- oo, nice. wish that was saturday... -- Simon
- Okay so I didn't get to go after all; had the baby all day. As of next week I should be all by myself (with a car) on Fridays. --Matty

Looks like an Adventure™ — a kilometre hike along a creek/ravine, through the scrub near Dotswood. There's an airstrip (?) nearby, and a quarry just up the road. Hi-res Google Maps data puts a dirt track near the point. Could be private property, but looks pretty open. Incidentally, it's about 3km north-west of the awesome impact crater I spotted in satellite images a while ago.
Wish I could go. --Matty

Hi Twistie. Do I know you? --Matty
Hey, I dunno. I'm a first year IT student at JCU. I have a feeling I have heard your name before but I'm just not sure. -- Twistie
Page Structure
I think it's good having the Saturday map links on the main page, and a brief description for the current/past ones. However, as Simon suggested, I'm quite happy for ephemeral discussions (about attempting hashes and stuff) to live here on the discussion page. If anyone else wants to update the Current Meetup Location section early on Saturdays, you're most welcome. Also, when we start running out of upcoming Saturdays, feel free to chuck in another months' worth of links. --Matty
