This graticule is located at 25 54. Sirri Island is home to an airstrip, a small harbor and some houses for technical (oil production) and military staff. The graticule also contains about 1/2 of the The Palm Jebel Ali, which is expected to accommodate up to 1.7 million people by 2020 (if the Dubai property market is coming back to life until then). The moment the first residents arrive (not before 2011) the graticule will probably have to be renamed to Palm Jebel Ali, UAE.
