Hello and welcome to the wiki page for Team Octopus.

People studying electronic engineering at the University of Southampton, UK are required at the end of their second year to write a program for a GPS device that demonstrates a knowledge of C# and databases, other than that the project is open ended. As a result, Team Octopus (the names are pre-selected) brings you the Geohelper, the must have application for Geohashers everywhere. The Geohelper not only directs you to today's Geohash, but automatically logs your achievements on your wiki page.

This means the contents of this page may do some odd things over the next few weeks. Don't get to excited if we suddenly log the first ever couch potato award, we probably just forgot a semi-colon somewhere. We promise to clear everything up after we're done, and of course we'll put the final program up when we're finished.

Also, if anyone has been having problems with the atom feed for Southampton recently, that may have been us - sorry.
