From Geohashing

This point is at the Junior High School where I studied in the early 80's! (It's a Middle School now.) I have played soccer on that field! I'm considering trying to get there, to get the Deja Vu or Hash At Your School ribbon or something, but it's kind of far from where I live now, so the children and I probably won't do it. Sara's Dad probably has brought Sara to school at least once and/or has watched a soccer football game there, so maybe he wins the déjà vu achievement, too. - Danatar 10:07, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- First of all, if a bunch of people play a game and want to call it "soccer", and there's no ambiguity as to what "soccer" means, do you really insist that they call it "football", even though they think the word "football" refers to the game properly called "hand egg"? I mean, isn't it reasonable to say that when football is played in most parts of the world it's called football, but when it's played in the U.S. or Canada by Americans or Canadians it's called "soccer"?
- Second, my sister and I think this geohash was probably my Dad's fist visit to the school's athletic fields, although we know he has been to the school before. Does it count as a déjà vu hash for him if the closest he has been to the hashpoint before the hash is 200 or 300 meters? Sara 16:04, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
