I live in Salisbury, England, in the Swindon graticule. I'm hoping to start geohashing whenever a hash comes up near where I live, but as I can't drive yet, distance is tending to be problematic. I also have to convince my girlfriend that this isn't a 'really silly idea'. I like hiking, and crazes started by webcomics, and I'm happy to have found something that brings the two together, (I also like singing and ferrets; I'm working on introducing more a capella singing and mustelids to geohashing).
I was gutted to find out that there was a hash nearly within sight of my house last year, on 2009-12-29.
