I enjoy taking aimless walks, so for me geohashing just adds an element of purpose. Of course, it also means that I have to travel part of the way by public transport or other means, since walking all the way would just take too long to be practical. (I have gone on day-long treks before, but you don't want to do that every other day, really.)
For now, I'm "maintaining" the page on Singapore, keeping it up to date on the newest upcoming locations and posting viable (= easily reachable) ones on the main page. I'll be trying to hit some of them, time permitting.
I'm also keeping track of these locations in a list and may try to visit some of the points although the actual date has passed. Anyone with a car that's willing to take a little road trip across the border to hit some points in Johor? Although you can't buy petrol there anymore, unless we go hit some points >50km away from the border. =Þ
Geohashers in Singapore -- c'mon, I know you're out there, I can hear you breathing -- go add yourself to the list of participants already! Alternatively, drop me an email or leave a message on my talk page. So that I know who to look out for! And so that we can coordinate meetups, of course.
