About Lucky

Lucky is an insurance agent with very little math or web editing know how. She simply likes the idea of a random adventure generator. Lucky works in one graticule, lives in another, and is close to four others. When she finds a hash she can get to, on a day that she has time, she does it. Unfortunately, it does not appear that there are many active geohashers nearby. As a side note, Lucky usually edits the wiki from her iPhone, which can get pretty tricky. Her skeptical husband is sometimes in the car when Lucky wanders off to a hash.

Planning

2013-10-12 38 -121[[1]] - Hash appears to be on private property in a hay field. Still attempting, since I will be at a Burning Man decompression event about 15 minutes away.

Attempted

2012-12-19 38 -120 [[2]] - Dark road with nowhere to pull over. Lots of cars zooming by. Got pretty close, but couldn't get out of the car.

2013-03-02 38 -120 [[3]] - This hash was on East Bay Municipal Utility District property. No trespassing signs all over the place.

2013-04-25 38 -120[[4]] - A private property hash in an unfriendly neighborhood with a beautiful view. Sadly, unsuccessful.

Succeeded

2013-02-23 38 -121 [[6]] This one looks like I can get to it, and it's on (relatively) public property! Probably try for morning, instead of 4pm, though. - Got within feet, but couldn't get the GPS to cooperate. Also, there was a fence. Still fun and interesting! - I'm switching this to Succeeded, due to the fact that my margin of error was about 4 feet, and I'm sure that the hash was right there on the other side of the fence, or maybe I was standing on it. Either way, I was there, it was there, and I was really, really close.

2013-04-21 38 -121 [[7]] I was out in Rancho Cordova anyway and saw that this hash was about 9 miles away. It was a really pretty, quiet spot at the back of a parking lot.

2013-09-27 38 -121[[8]] Residential street in Lodi, CA.

Not Attempted

2013-10-08 37 -121 [[9]] In my old neighborhood. I had a bike stripped and mostly stolen less than a block from here.

2013-09-09 38 -120 [[10]] Foiled by my bronchitis-ridden husband.

2012-11-01 37 -120[[11]] - This one was in a dairy effluent pit. Didn't go near it.
