Location

At the rear (western end) of a community centre building at Hughes, a suburb of Canberra.

Lunchtime excursion, talk to the people at the Community Centre, and give them a site visit brochure.

Expedition

I got there, to the small shopping centre in the suburb of Hughes. The geohash site is in a hall at the Community Centre. Just outside is a small memorial wall to William Morris "Billy" Hughes, Australian politician and 7th Prime Minister of Australia.

I met the people from the various community groups that use the place, particularly Ingrid who is the manager of COTA (Council On The Aging) who took my picture at the hash point. (See below, when I upload it.)

There is also a piece of street art, a bronze statue, erected in 1997, showing a "little old lady".
