Welcome to geohashing! To answer your question as to whether or not this should count as a success, there isn't a hard rule that I've found, but if you were within your device's margin of error (or "circle of uncertainty"), and said margin of error is no more than 10m, very few people would dispute that you successfully reached the coordinates. As to achievements, you're eligible for at least Land Geohash. It's customary to post proof of achievements, typically in the form of a photo or screenshot of your GPS, though tracklogs, geotags embedded in photos, or other evidence can work as well.
