I'm Basil, and I just found out about Geohashing in the last week or so (as of Nov 1, 2013). It looks like it might be fun! We'll see how it goes.
I live in graticule 47, -121, in centicule 58. Since most of 47, -121 is wilderness, I suspect I'll do a lot of geohashing in my western neighbor, 47, -122. I'm pushing 60 and not in good shape, and I'm on a very limited income. All in all, I doubt I'll make many geohashes, but you never know...
I'm involved in the Society for Creative Anachronisms, and go to events many weekends during the summer. I'm hoping a geohash lands up in the middle of an event!
