Location

On a field a little west of Innsbruck, between motorway and Inn. Again, too close not to go.

Plans

Suggested the formal-attire geohash, which was turned into a midnight-formal-attire because 1-0 had other plans tomorrow, and was surprised about the positive response from the still growing Innsbruck geohash community. Introducing tonight, with her first geohash appearance: FlairTending.

Expedition

With the temperatures just scratching at the 0°C mark, it was not quite cold enough for the frozen geohash, but sure it felt like one. Especially because formal attire is not known to be the warmest clothing available.

We met at 11.15 p.m. at the Inn cycling way, three of us again on unicycles (their primary method of transportation, it's not about the circus geohash). 1-0 was the only one not showing up in formal attire, but carrying a promising large bag, more on that later. We drove along the Inn to Kranebitten, crossed the river and after about another kilometer we arrived at the spot. As expected it was on a field, right next to a fenced area, but fortunately on the accessible side of the fence. The ground was cold enough and covered with grass, so it was not particularly muddy and overall very convenient coordinates. I took a few gps screenshots before and a few after midnight to prove the midnight geohash. Meanwhile, 1-0 revealed the mystery of his bag: the formal attire was all stuffed in there. Luckily I only had to put on my good shoes, but 1-0 started changing in the freezing night. So here is tonight's gallery for the ladies:

After the obligatory group picture, 1-0 had fun running around with his self-made kite. With a little bit of good will one can say that it indeed did fly. FlairTending and me performed a little bit of juggling with glow balls, but very soon all of us got really cold, so we packed all our stuff together, and 1-0 changed back in his regular clothes (original citation: "Uiuiuiuiui"). After a last picture of Waltraud and a glow ball right at the coordinates, we made our way back.

The ride was quite uneventful, only a couple of guys pulling out of a McDonald's parking lot were so happy to see three unicycles at once that they honked the horn several times. By the time I arrived at home my fingers were hurting badly from being cold, but it was totally worth it.
