Plans
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's geohashes were all within just a few miles from me - a great opportunity. Unfortunately, on Friday I had taken the bus to work and couldn't drive a couple miles to the geohash in a post office parking lot, and on Saturday a brief thunderstorm sprung up just as I was about to leave. There was a group I was meeting with in New Brunswick on Sunday, but I was sure I could take in the geohash in Princeton on the way back. The point was in a front yard, so not publicly accessible, but visible at least.
Expedition
There was trouble as soon as I got to New Brunswick and found our group's meeting place, a grocery store, was soon to be kicked out for nonpayment of back rent; I bought myself an apple and sherbert, but found that it didn't come with a little spoon and the eating area no longer stocked spoons. As I hurried on to Princeton, my bicycle got a puncture (from a staple) and ruined my chance of reaching the geohash at 4:00.
It was actually only as I approached Princeton that I realized I could qualify for a Tron Geohash Achievement,
