Location

25 km westward from the town of Kuopio. The point was hiding in the wood, 10 meters from the road 5550.

Expedition

It was a very warm Saturday afternoon. We thought it would be funny to find this meetup point and after that visit the beach of the village nearby and swim off all the sweat.

We drove on the road 5550 (= Länsiranta road) and after passing the village of Kaislastenlahti saw the point was near. We left the car on the sideroad Käränkäniementie (what a stunning name for a road :)).

We walked about 100 m backwards along the road 5550. Then to the left from the road through birch bushes and willowherbs. There were some spruces and rowans after the bushes, and between the trees we saw the roof of a house on the clearing nearby. The point was under a willowherb.

And then we drove to the beach for swimming! It was a very good journey, we thought.
