The Emergency Fun Box is to be taken on all of the Tongs' geohashing expeditions. It contains equipment for having emergency fun when there is no fun at or near the hashpoint. There is always fun at or near the hashpoint.

Equipment:
CompassMap- Torch
- Wet-wipes
- Insect bite stuff and general first aid things
- Sunblock (SPF≥30)
- Towel (since we're hoopy froods)
Food:
At the least, the box should contain the favourite snack of each participant.
- Nuts
- Dried fruit
- Olives
- Yo Yo Bears (rolls of 'fruit leather')
- Sandwiches (preferably in kit form)
- Drinks, including water
- Interesting snacks
- Samosas or sanshis, prepared by M
Fun:
- Card games
- Crafts
- A book
Along with the Emergency Fun Box, the following should be brought:
- A soccer ball and/or American football
- Plenty of hats
- A picnic blanket (optional)
- Wellies and waterproofs
The coordinates of the hashpoint are written on the lid of the Emergency Fun Box for Tongs not using a GPS receiver.
