Location
The Melbourne graticule is located at 28, -80, and is mostly dam water (actually salt water). Between the large amount of water, NASA, Patrick AFB, Melbourne Airport, swamps and sod farms, etc. we have precious little actual land in our graticule. On the rare occasion that we do get a point on land, everyone is forced to drop any plans they had for that day and head to the point.
Should a location appear in the water, the meeting point automatically becomes the closest shoreline to the point in question.

Jan 20, 2009: detzold and nurbles finally managed to reach one! Since it was in the middle of a busy road, we drove though the spot first, then went to a nearby park to get some pictures and nearly freeze our Floridian butts off. The SE corner of the park was only a couple dozen feet East of the exact spot. We searched the park's body of water for walrus, penguin and polar bears, but could find none, despite the seeming (Ant)Arctic conditions [well, to us Florida beach folk, at least). They must've all been in Washington for the inauguration (or watching it from Al Gore's house).
