On a field near Oosterbeek, Gelderland province.

Today's hash appeared to be in an open area in a forest. It could be either a clearing or a farmer's field. Satellite imagery wasn't clear enough to see which it was, so I decided to go and check it out. It was a beautiful cold Sunday morning, and very nice to walk in the forest. There were several people riding on an MTB trail. Most of them said "good morning" to me, which I found pretty surprising since cyclists don't usually do that. I assume they were just being friendly, but a more cynical person might suspect that what they really meant was "get the heck off our trail".
Anyway, once I reached the hash it turned out to be in a farmer's field behind a fence. I could get no closer than 15 metres. Oh well.
Afterwards I went on to visit a couple of museums nearby, including the Airborne Museum in Oosterbeek which has a pretty comprehensive exhibit about the Battle of Arnhem in World War II.
