Goobergunch (or Martin) is a student at Harvey Mudd College in the San Bernardino, California graticule, although he's willing to visit neighboring geohashes if they're close enough. Like many students at Harvey Mudd, Goobergunch is fairly insane most of the time.
Update: He is now a law student at the University of Iowa in the Cedar Rapids South, Iowa graticule. He is still up for geohashing.
