Hello. My name is James. I live in the Glasgow graticule, and was the first man to reach a hashpoint in the 55 -4 area (and indeed any hashpoint in Scotland), less than one month after the cartoon was posted.

Expeditions

So far I have made it to three hashpoints:

• 1 - June 12th, 2008 at Patterton train station car park.

• 2 (almost exactly 27 months later) - September 11th, 2010 in the middle of Dumbarton Road in Bowling.

• 3 - October 30th, 2010 behind Langside College in Glasgow (fifteen minutes walk from my house).

Achievements

James earned the Graticule Unlocked Achievement by being the first to reach any hashpoint in the (55, -4) graticule, here, on 2008-06-12.

James earned the Land geohash achievement by reaching the (55, -4) geohash on 2008-06-12.

James earned the Public transport geohash achievement by reaching the (55, -4) geohash on 2008-06-12 via the Neilston branch line to Patterton train station.

James earned the Police Geohash Achievement by being passed by a speeding police car while attempting the (55, -4) geohash on 2010-09-11.
