Plans
When Beardygrade excitedly reported that the next geohash would occur within the city limits of Oldenburg and in direct vicinity of the Bornhorst lakes, Altetrine immediately decided to join the expedition. And not even as a drag-along but with the clear intention to become a geohasher as well and to create an account. Plans were made to start after breakfast.
Expedition
Breakfast on christmas eve was not that early in the morning, giving Gaboversta no excuse to exclude himself from the journey. The three expeditionists mounted their bikes around 11:30 and made their way from the western fringe of Oldenburg towards the eastern one. Despite being the forenoon of christmas eve with many last-minute shoppers around, traffic was nostly acceptable. For a small stretch they could even use a fairly new bicycle street.
