On satellite photo (old pictures) it looked like to be close to a grassy area between two pieces of farmers land. I had not geohashed in 55 12 before and usually it is Denmark, Copenhagen area so I was interested in getting there on the Swedish side. I and Tercez was going for a geocache FTF-hunt after work in that direction so we were going in the right direction anyway.

Expedition

Weather was on hold, no rain. It had been raining all day. When we gave up our geocaching FTF-hunt we went to find the geohashpoint.

When arriving close to it, we could see that the grassy area was no more. The land was ploughed recently and with all the rain the last days it was not going to be fun to try to walk through the mud in office working shoes (for Tercez). I had wellingtons on, but time was running out.

The kids had to be fetched, so we both chickened out, 167 meters from the geohash coordinates. At least Tercez earned a geocache on opencaching.se making it to the closest point of a geohash without walking on farmer's land (that was accepted in the geocache rules).
