Hello, all!

My name is Ellen, though I answer to many things, such as Ellie, Elf, or the actual letter L. (Kind of like on Death Note but not like on Death Note at all) Gerti is a mere screen name I adopted from the BBC Radio show "Cabin Pressure." I currently live in the 31,-97 graticule, in Killeen, though my actual home is located in 30,-94. My brother was the one who introduced me to 'hashing and, though I am but a novice, I anticipate many geohashing-related adventures in the future! So far it has been brilliant!

P.S- I am not the most technologically inclined child of the 20th century, so I my documentations are likely to be a melange of completely unnecessary struggle and eventual conquer 'twix myself and the computer.
