This is a Welcome Back to the Future hash. An unique retrohash, that can only be done on 2015-10-21, the day Marty arrived from 1985-10-26.

Location

Next to a water tower on a Suncrest hillside.

Participants

Expedition

I visited the Spokane geohash earlier in the day, though unfortunately I had a lot of stuff to do. By evening I was able to get away, and decided to go for it.

My prior research showed this to be a water tower, and though google and bing maps were of little use, Open Streetmap showed a dogleg road leading right up to the tower. One piece of my geohashing kit is a flashlight, so I was all set.

I easily reached Suncrest and found the turnoff. A one lane dirt road led to a locked gate - but no signs. I parked, broke out the flashlight, and started jabbering to myself (a known antidote to bears).

From the gate (right at the knee of the dogleg) it was 300 meters up a gentle slope to the water tower - not lit at night unfortunately. Even more unfortunately, after the first 100 meters I spotted a sign on the tree - No Trespassing.

Marty McFly did drive into a farmer's (private) property, hiding the DeLorean in a barn. My options include a) ignoring the sign or b) assuming the sign is for the neighboring land. I saw no fence and my previous google research did indicate this was all one plot of land. Expedition complete, no success.
