Location

This geohash is smack dab in the middle of a small city park called Las Juntas Park, in Pleasant Hill CA USA, which is in the East Bay near Walnut Creek and Concord.

Expedition by Danfuzz

Durn near close to the exact geohash spot. Not bad for neohashers, eh?

Dan and Kristin decided to brave the less than stellar weather (constantly threatening to rain) to find this place, on their first ever geohashing expedition. It was about a 45 minute drive from San Francisco.

There were lots of birds hanging around, and the park seemed to be popular with the dogs.

A guy and his corgi noticed the sign marking the geohash spot, and came up to us to ask what it was all about. I (Dan) gave him a friendly "Howdy!" and he asked what we were selling, adding that anybody that friendly has to be selling something. Eventually, he decided we were harmless (and not selling anything), if a bit odd.
