Planning

When Jim noticed that hashpoint was pretty near by, he put a note onto the Portland, Oregon talk page. I also checked the Washington County Taxlot information, and found that area was 3 tax lots, all zoned "Exclusive Farm Use", with one of them having a hay shed, which seemed the most likely owner.

No one responded, so I suspect everyone was busy. I printed out a Google Maps page for directions, and the GPS coordinates, and set out after work, leaving my warm, but not overheated computer room behind.

Expedition

Jim drove there, burning up liquified velociraptors.

He found fields of oats and red clover.

The house he was heading for was under construction, and no one was there. I asked a neighbor, and she said I should ask in that house, and indicated that maybe the wife was in the barn. But no one answered when I knocked at the barn, so I gave up at that house.

I was about to ask at another house when my pager went off. The computer room, which was running with limited airconditioning already, had blown a circuit breaker and required my attention, and there is no WiFi in the Rural parts of North Plains. (But there is at the Library!)

Mission Thwarted, mostly by no access.
