Plans

I was going to go there after work. I did print out the Google Maps page and program my GPS.

Expedition

Getting most of the way to the hashpoint proved pretty easy, especially since I'd been to the same area about a week earlier. The field proved to be close to an airfield, which I think is really a glider port. No one was flying when I went by, but in my attempts to find someone to give me permission to enter the field, I did cross the end of the runway.

The hashpoint proved to be about 100 feet off the roadway, which put it quite a few rows into a field of either peas or beans. (It looked like some kind of legume, anyway.) I couldn't find anyone nearby who owned the field, so I couldn't get permission to travel into it. No one would probably have known or cared as long as I didn't trample their plants, but it's against the spirit of the game.

So, I took my "No Trespassing" ribbon and went home.
