Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it!

Location

In the cul-de-sac of a public street (136th Ct), Savage, Minnesota, USA.

Participants

Plans

A rather unplanned expedition. While browsing the wiki during the evening of 2011-12-12, I noticed that the day's coordinates for my home graticule fell in a convenient location: the middle of a quiet cul-de-sac about 20 minutes away. Around 23:45 or so, I finally decided (given the late hour and my lack of a GPS) to try a last-minute solo attempt at a Land, Midnight, and No Batteries Geohash. I wrote some directions on a Post-It, got my things in order (camera, batteries, backup batteries), and headed out the door.

Expedition

Unfortunately, I'd left home too late and reached the hash point about ten minutes after midnight. I still took some pictures, though. (I also forgot to set the clock back on my camera when DST ended last month, so my timestamps are about an hour ahead.)

Photos

Achievements

Probably none, because I arrived after midnight.
