Participants

Plans

Drive around until the baby falls asleep :-) and hopefully get back in time to pick up Evan at school.

Expedition

We left a little before 2PM. We had to be back at the school before 3, so we were just going to drive in the general direction of the geohash. If we reached it, great, if not, at least the baby got a nap and we got a nice drive through some of the backroads in NJ.

We went down US-206 to close to the Princeton area, and turned off to the west on Cherry Valley Rd. I didn't print out or look up directions, so I played it by ear, looking at the map and trying to guess which roads would take us closer.

We turned down Moores Mill Mt. Rose Rd., an area we know because there is a self-pick farm in the area. We followed that road to Hopewell-Pennington Rd., which doubled back toward Hopewell, then made a left onto Van Dyke Rd. On the map, it looks like a through road to Lambertville-Hopewell Rd., but after a block, it ended at a cul-de-sec. The "continuation" was one way coming the other way (into the cul-de-sac from the other direction).

That turned out to be the end of the expedition; at that point we had only enough time left to get back to town to get our son, taking more of the main roads through Hopewell, Blawenburg, and Rocky Hill.
