Expedition

This was the first stop on a two-part pseudomultihash. Swensonj's wife was nice enough to take the kids to a museum, so that Swensonj could spend a little extra time hashing with his dad and brother.

We left Minneapolis at 1:00 p.m., with a route carefully planned to earn the Tron achievement and the Origin geohash achievement as well as visiting the daily hash for Minneapolis SW, Minnesota. This first leg of the trip was quite easy: almost all highway driving. It was no trouble to drive right up to the hashpoint: it was next to a bush in the front yard of a suburban home, right near Shakopee High School. We tracked an XKCD marker in the snow. No one came out to ask what we were doing.

At this point we were close enough that it was not insane to continue to 1977-02-25 44 -93, to attempt the Origin geohash achievement.
