Plans

Since I had taken a day off, we wanted to drive 55 km to Dingelstädt, do a bit of sightseeing and shopping and visit this very easy geohash as well.

Expedition

We left home 12:45 pm and arrived in Dingelstädt around 13:30 pm, parked our car and started out on a multi-geocache, which would lead us through the old inner city and show us some interesting places. The weather was excellent - more than 20 degrees Celcius, early October, simply great to do some sightseeing! At the middle of the multi, we headed for the hash, which was located directly at a main road that goes through Dingelstädt. It was an easy one - very easy indeed - and within two minutes I took some photos as evidence and we continued our way...

Personal note: it seems, that geohashing is a good thing to also attract my wife getting out a little more, by combining some geohashing and geocaching with a bit of shopping, sightseeing and getting us a little snack on our trip! There's always something interesting for both of us to discover and the hashes lead us to places where we hadn't been before...
