This one is about 3 km off the sea at Waimairi Beach. [[User:Evil Monkey|Evil Monkey]] plan to bike over to Waimairi beach and look out to see around lunchtime. Looks like it will be just before high tide. How much beach will there be? Never been to this particular bit of beach at New Brighton.

Close to town so Evil Monkey hopped on his bike.

31 May & 1 and 2 June

Unfortunately the geohashes for Saturday, Sunday and Monday are once again far outside the city of Christchurch and the bus system. Evil Monkey also has a cold and so doesn't feel like trying to bike to them. Some have tried: 2008-05-31

Saturday's GeoHash was here, it looked like it is halfway up a hill, and it's hard to tell where the Popper Road ends, could be a 1km walk, possibly even worth a MNIMB Award.

UPDATE: It turned out to be more difficult with Phire having to be rescued by the police. Did not help that the track is no longer maintained by DOC.
