The Cowra graticule (-33, 148) covers Cowra, Parkes, Molong, and most of Forbes. Each city falls near the edge of the graticule, various state forests and small villages cover the land between them. The graticule is on the edge of the Blue Mountains range and the western part of the graticule is fairly level.
