(Railway) Gate is opened on call. Please press button. Please call (shout) when crossing is cleared or other users follow.
This is a common way to provide railway level crossings on less travelled ways and high trafficated railway lines, although getting less common now. The level crossing is closed all the time, you can talk with the control centre via intercom if you want to cross the line, and they'll open the gate for you as soon as it's secure to do so. --Ekorren 22:26, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
