It looks like today's point is very close to the Interisland ferry route---perhaps less than 100 metres away. Is anyone interested in becoming a pirate today? It looks like you can book it now for $78 return (assuming you're coming from Wellington): leave Wellington 2pm, arrive Picton 5pm; leave Picton 6pm, arrive Wellington 9pm (both legs on the Aratere). --- 203.97.216.171
