Anyway, this was a very wide road, with nearly no traffic, and it was straight. That's why I was sure my friend in his fully faired bike should be able to reach 100+.

Braking is using built-up energy(from climbing up the hill) to produce heat. I'd rather use it to produce velocity(braking is baaad, mmmkay?). Anyway, this was a very wide road, with nearly no traffic, and it was straight. That's why I was sure my friend in his fully faired bike should be able to reach 100+.
