What should the ribbon be? Just a big number as a picture with the text "This user's Munroe number is N."? Maybe the ribbon should also include the entire chain to Randall, but I cannot see how that can be fit into a small ribbon. --[[User:Fippe|Fippe]] 05:37, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Ribbon

What should the ribbon be? Just a big number as a picture with the text "This user's Munroe number is N."? Maybe the ribbon should also include the entire chain to Randall, but I cannot see how that can be fit into a small ribbon. --Fippe 05:37, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Clearly, the last panel of https://xkcd.com/599 ! Arlo (talk) 23:07, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

Not up to date

Fun idea, but the actual meet-up graph hasn't been updated since 2013. As long as that doesn't happen this is not gonna work well. --CO2 (talk) 05:43, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Well, you are right about the picture, but as far as I know, the list itself is up to date, isn't it? --Fippe 05:51, 1 October 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, but the picture is easier to use. If you go to the big view, the text is even searchable. --CO2 (talk) 05:52, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

Non-hash meetings

How about if someone meet Randall at one of his book signing events, for example? Elipongo (talk) 08:26, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

I would argue no, because this is supposed to be a Geohashing achievement, not one of general meetings. If we would apply counting every meeting to Erdős numbers, mine would be 2, and I'm not even a scientist. --Fippe 06:39, 2 October 2015 (EDT)
