I work as a database programmer in the "IT-Speicher" in Regensburg, Germany, and toy around with unconventional r/c aircraft and odd digital photography techniques in my free time.

I do have a website but for the moment it is horribly outdated.

I'll try to visit hashpoints on weekends if the coordinates are reachable from Regensburg by bicycle, including the corners of the neighbor graticules:

• Nuremberg
• Landshut
• Munich

Since I'm into Openstreetmap as well, I use Geohashing as an opportunity for "Openstreethashing" - selecting random points to go to seems like a good method for collecting tracks.

• 2008-09-29 49 11 Very close to Eilsbrunn, in a field west of Regensburg, with Tomcat.
• 2008-08-09 49 12 Near Hainsacker, in a forest north of Regensburg, with Tomcat
• 2008-06-15 49 11 Near Siebeneichen, in a field east of Amberg

Achievements

There seems to be no ribbon yet, but I seem to have won the Déjà Vu Geohash achievement by having taken pictures at the 2008-09-29 49 11 coordinates on 2003-02-02.

dawidi earned the Bicycle geohash achievement by cycling to the (49, 11) geohash on 2008-06-15.

dawidi earned the Drag-along achievement by dragging a fellow geocacher to the (49, 12) geohash on 2008-08-09.
