• 2012-08-16: Kigaia and family visited the rolling farmland of Riner, Virginia on a cold, rainy day to find the geohash located in a grassy field.

This being our first geohashing adventure, I'd love to have pictures of Heeli and Anu standing at the geohash with stupid grins, if for no other reason than to commemorate this day for our personal records. But our camera malfunctioned. And it was cold and rainy. And Anu lost patience with all of the above. So our expedition report will have to suffice as proof.

Kigaia Family earned the Drowned Rat Geohash Honourable Mention by reaching the (37.056576, -80.474358) geohash on 2012-10-08 despite being partially wet from trudging through thick, wet fields on a rainy day.
