Hello, visitor. I'll be your ~~disembodied~~, ~~anonymous~~, ~~invisible~~ narrator on a lonely trek through an alien world.

I live and study in Istanbul, Turkey. I'm a molecular biologist, though I'm afraid not a very good one because organic chemistry goes way over my head all the time. I'm also rather insane, even for what you might expect from a geohasher.

I've only recently started geohashing; my attempts have been less successful than I'd have liked. But it's fun to think back to the things that stumped me and laugh about them, and it's doubly fun to laugh about them with the friends who came along. So, I don't mind.

I try to reach the hash whenever I can get away from my lab, although being a penniless student has made things difficult somewhat. I hope you won't be too bored by the copious stories of botched expeditions.

2009-06-13 41 28 - First foray, thwarted by treacherous Turkish cuisines and sleazy bus drivers.

2009-06-12 41 29 - Missed my time frame, aborted expedition.

2009-06-09 41 28 - Cheated by picking easy alternate spot. Was unimpressed with results.
