Did you end up going to 2009-12-23 -37 145? I might head out later today, but I'm still working, so during the the day doesn't work for me so much until next week.
By the way, the Melbourne Talk Page is probably the most useful place to post an invitataion like the one for today.
Oh, and I think you could probably move yourself to the active geohashers section of the Melbournites list if you wanted to. You've done a few now.
