Oh, and I think you could probably move yourself to the active geohashers section of the Melbournites list if you wanted to. You've done a few now.

Sorry, I didn't know about the Melbourne talk page but will post there in the future. Still finding my way around the wiki...

Yes, I did go, but decided to go even earlier as it's pretty toasty out there today - I've posted a write-up a short while ago and will post pics shortly. Technically I should've been at work, but was on conference calls till 9pm last night so felt they owed me a couple of hours of leeway this morning.

It's a straightforward hash although there's a big fence in the way, if you wanted to get to the exact point you could probably walk around the end of the fence close to the Greensborough Highway (it's visible on Google Maps, kind of). I went straight off've the coordinates on my GPS rather than Google Maps which put the point 10-15 metres further to the east, where the trees start next to the highway. There's no easy parking nearby; I ended up parking in the leisure centre (in the block to the north-west of the roundabout) and walking over the pedestrian bridge - approx 500-600m from the hash point.

I'd love to do more hashes and will hopefully be able to do some between Xmas and New Years so long as they're relatively accessible - have car and GPS, will travel. I'll post on the Melbourne talk page where appropriate.
