Hello Q-Owl,

Great to see another Geohasher out there. I saw your message on my Talk page. No time now to look into it but I will get back to you. Feel free to message me in German if you like, I can read it very well, writing in German is something different ;-) And no, I don't think there ar eless geohashers these days... only they are spread out over the world more now. -Palmpje (talk) 22:21, 15 November 2013 (EST)

Oops, some time before I replied in more detail. I think your expedition page is fine. The story is more important than design of the page in my opinion. I just like to clean up stuuf like "New Report" on expeditions, try to mend broken links, whatever.

Anyway, if you feel that your English is not that good (who am I to judge, I'm Dutch...) most people will understand what you're writing. Don't be shy! On your other point, I think that geohashing is very much alive after 5 years. It's a silly thing, so only a few people will be able to understand what it is about. NOT scoring points, it's about adventure. Having said that... I'm rather new to geahashing as well and live in a 'hard' graticule. About 50% sea, 35% agricultural land, 10% towns/cities... so most of the time no way to get to the hash. But I really love the idea. Sadly, my wife thinks it's silly. But she does want to join me on nice geocaching walks/bike rides. Palmpje (talk) 15:50, 2 December 2013 (EST)
